Jud (short for Judith) Pollock is a Northern Irish potter who studied in England, and now lives and works in Scotland.

She studied 3 Dimensional Design at Manchester Metropolitan University specialising in ceramics, and graduated in 2004.

It took a while but nearly ten years after graduating and having a lot of amazing experiences working in hospitality around the world, Jud settled down. She bought a second-hand potter’s wheel and set up her first workshop in a shed. Tea with Jud was established in 2014.  

Today, Jud lives in Perthshire, Scotland. She shares a cute little cottage near the River Ericht with her dog called Albert, and her cat called Myrtle. Jud’s studio overlooks the lade and it’s there that she designs, makes, fires and glazes her wheel-thrown pottery. Tea with Jud pottery is always cheery in a range of bright bold colours, inspired by nature, colour and pattern. 

Jud loves music and when she is not making pottery, she can usually be found at a gig somewhere, baking, knitting or swimming in a loch!
