I love craft and I love making things. Most of my life is spent potting or knitting. These 2 crafts are enough to fulfill me, but this year I wanted to try something new.

The sign for the cottages where I live was in a state if disrepair. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to try my first mosaic, so I set aside some seconds and pieces I'd chipped in the house.

Well... what can I say, I am obsessed! I forgot about that initial buzz you get when trying a new craft/hobbie. I would sneak into the workshop in my pyjamas and do five minutes, and then another 5 minutes... which would easily turn into an hour! I couldn't stop thinking about it, the most satisfying jigsaw ever. Now it's finished, I think I probably should have used a different colour of grout, but overall I am still delighted with how it turned out 😁

Hi, just reminding you that the online shop will b

Hi, just reminding you that the online shop will be closing tomorrow at noon. There are still a few Heart of the Day pieces left and thats your last chance to get them online this year.

I know it's not ideal to open and close the shop but I think this way of working benefits a lot of makers, including myself.

It means I can be completely focused on production in the workshop, without the pressure of checking e.mails, wrapping orders (which really does take a long time!) and going to the Post Office on a daily basis.

I have so many collections it is impossible to make stock of every single product and colour range each time the shop is updated. I'm trying to make the online openings a bit more regular, but limit what is available, therefore tailoring my collections to the seasons.

My thinking was Grey & Gold during winter openings, HOTD around Feb/March, Yellow in Spring, and I've no idea what to do with the Polka Dots and Golden Dreamscape/Azalea as they seem to be popular all the time?

I know shopping habits have changed so much, and people like things instantly, but when it comes to online shopping for pots, what are your thoughts?

I stopped making the Small Breakfast Bowls a while

I stopped making the Small Breakfast Bowls a while ago, but I wanted to make a few for my latest shop update.

I still use this size of bowl in the house all the time. I find it such a useful size so i'll definitely make some for my upcoming events.
